CANISP Plc (the 'Company') received notification on 21 December 2006 that, as at the close of business on 20 December 2006, Advance AIM Value Realisation Company ('Advance AIM') acquired a material interest in the Company's shares that resulted in Advance AIM holding a total of 4,500,000 ordinary shares representing approximately 4.27% of the issued share capital of the Company. As at 22 December 2006, the Company had 105,397,275 ordinary shares in issue.
